Meeting the Wedding Stylist

A few weeks ago, I was surprised to learn that a wedding stylist wants to meet with us. It was actually an answered prayer. I've been attending wedding fairs and exhibits to gather ideas, information on wedding setups, and reception concepts.

Although, there are hundreds that you can find in the internet, still choosing a wedding setup is the most challenging part of preparation.

The person I'm referring to as a wedding stylist is actually a chef of a popular Philippine coffee shop. His name is Chef Mark Infante of Figaro Coffee Shop. Thank you to Annessy Del Mundo for connecting us with him.

We’re scheduled to meet him and discuss the details this coming week. I was delighted that it came just in time before the final detailing with the caterer.

Our motif will represent who we are. I incorporated my favorite colors - red and gold. And since our wedding day falls on a Chinese New Year, the colors match the celebration. You’ll definitely see red, gold and white on Feb 10, 2013!

The next two weeks is all about the final detailing with the caterer and wedding stylist. I’m excited and thrilled to meet them!

On another note, we''ll be attending a wedding exhibit happening at EDSA Shangri-La called “20: A Wedding Gala”  It highlights 20 wedding table setups from different designers including Pepsi Herrera, Francis Liberan, Edwin Tan and Veluz Reyes just to name a few.

We’re so grateful to have friends who share their time and effort. By the way, finally, I have my wedding gown! It was during that time that I also fit three wedding gowns of different designs. All is set for February 10 with God’s grace and blessings amidst all challenges.

We'll share more of what we have discussed with our wedding stylist Chef Mark Infante next week! Happy weekend!
